Description:
Preliminary to the creation of the Globe, I found a strange hole in the forest, that I transformed it into an impact crater. I imagined a similar sized round ball of solid wood could be the fictional cause that led to this crater.

The globe is made out of one piece of wood from an old tree. During the making of the globe, experiment and actual production went hand in hand. This resulted in a non-perfect round shape, similar to the form of a pebble. The imperfect form implies a long life; a journey that has left its traces.
